According to today’s paper, “Christian pastor and Kern High School District trustee Sam Thomas wants the Bible taught in local schools.” Not a religion class, he says, just an elective class on Bible history and a study of its literature.

When asked if any other religious literature such as the Quran should also be taught, his reply was “no way.”
