Mother's Day Yesterday

My son called me early yesterday and when I answered the phone he said, “Happy Mother’s Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!” When he finally stopped I told him he sounded like he was falling off a cliff. “Off a Mother’s Day cliff” he replied in goofy voice, “Into a river of love.”

It’s nice know he at least inherited my sarcasm.
