Padre Plans

There’s an article in the paper today announcing the future plans for The Padre. Pacifica Enterprises has announced that they are going to sell sections of the former hotel, “as condos with variable, customizable floor plans.” Sounds kinda cool. I was hoping they’d bring back the bar, add a couple of restaurant, and open a few cool shops, but at this point anything is better than nothing.

It’s been frustrating to see The Padre, half finished, just sitting there with nothing going on. According to the paper, Pacifica settled the law suit filed by the D.A. last year, but they’ve been checking out the red hot real estate market and reassessing their plans.

It will be interesting to see how much they try to charge for these condos.
