Lost Treasures

The paper has a pretty cool series they're running this week all about some of Bakersfield's lost treasures. If you haven't already registered to get the online version, this would be a good time to do it. They started with the infamous "Sun, Fun, Stay, Play" sign and then moved on to more mysterious places like that giant pool on Union. Other "treasures" they plan to cover are the bar at the Padre Hotel (*sigh*whoever got rid of that place should be strung up by the neck) and the Crest drive in. (Oooo this should be fun!)

Does any body else remember the putt putt golf place on Union that had a giant dinosaur?
