The BHS teacher who duct taped her student's mouth shut has found a few fans around town. The Eye of Bakersfield blog at bakersfield.com had 111 people post comments about what they thought of the teacher and her tactics. Most of the people seemed to support the teacher and feel that the story had been blown way out of proportion. I mean, really, a little duct tape never hurt anyone. Did it?
After teaching high school for 35 years, I think every teacher should be allowed to duct tape at least one student’s mouth shut.
