There’s an article in the paper today about the LAFCO. The LAFCO it seems is the Local Agency Formation Commission, and their mission is to “encourage the orderly growth of development.” Okay, whatever. Apparently some of the members are concerned about the fact that people haven’t heard of the commission and don’t know much about it. To prove this fact, someone had the bright idea to interview a couple local winos. I live downtown, I know these guys. Right next to the article are three pictures with their responses to the question “What is LAFCO?” One man answered “Laughing gas? Agent Orange?” and the other said, “Insane Clown Posse?”
Huh…couldn’t they find somebody who wasn’t crazy to ask that question?
