Milton "Spartacus " Miller

The Padre is back up for sale after Pacifica Enterprises, a San Diego based company, gave up on renovating the building once and for all. I’m starting to think Milton "Spartacus" Miller put a curse on that place. His long standing dispute with city hall seems to have taken on a life of its own. Nothing but bad luck has happened with The Padre since he first decided to mark the building with a giant Alamo Tombstone sign.

That’s exactly what it’s starting to look like.
