I mean, if you survive that is. Police dropped the charges against Brandie Nye yesterday after she was found shot, execution style, near the mouth of the canyon. It wasn’t long before police figured out who did it and why. Four men where hoping to shut her up and send a message to the old man ready to testify against them. Unfortunately for them, Brandie has one heck of a thick noggin. I can’t imagine being shot in the head and surviving. Of course, she may not be able to imagine it either. She’s still in the hospital and there is no word on how she’s doing.
These dudes are seriously mean. (And they look it too.) Two of them tied up a 61 year old man, and robbed him, and another one stabbed his dog. What the hell? Why did he have to go and do that?
Honestly, the thing I can’t figure out is why these guys where out running around at all. One of them, I’m not saying who, has been arrested in Kern County 22 times. Holy cow! From the looks of his record, the only time he wasn’t being arrested is when he was in jail. And just think, those are just the times he actually got caught.
