A few weeks ago Oscar and I received a letter in the mail informing us that we qualified for an Economic Stimulus Payment. Apparently they think we’re stupid and don’t watch the news. Like we couldn’t figure that out by ourselves? Yesterday we received another letter saying that the check should be here by May 16th. Among other things, the letter says under the heading ‘What You Need To Do” it says, “You do not need to do anything.” Seriously. As far as I’m concerned, if you’re too stupid to figure out the government is sending you money, you don’t deserve a check.
