When I got home from the pool today there was a flyer on my door – the headline read “Serious Sex Offender.” At first I thought it was just some silly thing a neighbor with a grudge had made up. Then I realized it was real. The man, Darren Kawamotto was just released from prison up north for rape. He received a 25 year sentence and served about half – now he’s decided to make Bake Town his home. The dude is living 2 blocks away and I guess the BPD thought we’d all like to know. Haven’t they ever heard the saying “ignorance is bliss?”
