Padre Prattle

The Padre Hotel is back in the news again asking  the same question that has been asked for years - What’s up? As most of you know, the 77 year old building was purchased by a company located San Diego, who promised to fix the place up.  They got about half way through when the whole project came to a screeching halt thanks to a few shysters trying to screw over some poor laborers.  They finally settled out of court, but little has happened since then.  But, according to the paper today, Pacifica is again talking about what is to be done with the Padre.  

Pacifica hopes to sell condos in the building, available in 574 square foot chucks.  That way each person can decide if they want, one bedroom, two bedrooms, or an entire floor.  How cool would that be?  I wanna buy a floor at the Padre!!

All they’re waiting on now is approval from the city.
