Best Basque in Bake

I went to a Basque restaurant last night. Those of you from Bake Town are probably starting to salivate right now. The rest of you are wondering what I am talking about. Most people do not know that in the Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain is Basque country. It’s not a independent country, but it does have its own very distinctive language & culture. I’m not sure why, but besides loving sheep and red wine, the Basque love Bakersfield. We have a very large population here and we have more Basque Restaurants than any other city in the United States! If you get a chance and are anywhere in the neighborhood I highly recommend you check it out.

Benji’s, Noriega’s and Pyrenees are the best.
