Tube Time!

Kickin' it Kern style. 

For many citizens of Bake Town, sizzling summers mean just one thing – tubing down the river. Just 30 miles east of town lies the beautiful Kern River Canyon. Locals love to jump in their pick-up trucks, strap a beer cooler to an inner tube and go for a ride down the river. If you are not from Kern County, however, the river is not for you. The “Killer Kern” takes dozens of Los Angelonians lives every summer.


You gotta have smarts to float down this river.
