Bad Batteries

Just a quick little side note in relation to that whole recycling issue. Did you know that disposable batteries are hazardous waste and should not be thrown into the trash? I didn’t know that until recently. You know what else is really bad? Those kids shoes with the lights inside that show when they walk. Bad. Very bad.

To dispose of hazardous waste in Bake Town you need to take it to the Kern County Special Waste Facility at 4951 Standard Street.
