The paper published an article today about the valuable art collection at East High School. Paintings purchased by alumni 50 years ago have recently been appraised at up to$250,000. Now that we all know about it, I wonder how long it’ll take before some punk kid tires to steal one.
There’s also an article about a new baseball team for men 48 and up. They’re all either used to play in college or wanted to. A few even played in the farm system. Now they’re putting together a team and hope to make it to the Men’s Senior Baseball World Series. I think this is so cool. The article didn’t mention when or where they’re going to be playing, but I’m going to keep my eyes open. I'd love to go to a game.
