Apparently if enough people put up a stink city leaders will actually pay attention and stop spreading crap all over Kern County. Who knew? The Californian called the 180 county supervisors made to ban sludge imports “astounding.” According to the article “Kern County has become something of a statewide, if not national, ground zero in the sludge debate.”

Great. Now besides being known as a hick town and home to Buck Owens, when people think of Bakersfield they’ll also think of poop.
