Doh!

Two men were arrested this morning in Arvin after breaking into a soda machine at a local school and stealing its contents. When I started reading the article I thought to myself, “Men? They couldn’t be older than 14 to try and pull off a heist like that.” Obliviously I have been sheltered. The culprits were Brian Lee Turney, 33, and Robert Hindy Beauchamp, 20. Both confessed to having the munchies and that they were hoping to use the change from the machine buy Cheetos to accompany the beverages they had stolen. Instead they will be enjoying a bologna sandwich and a cookie, compliments of the Kern County jail.

I’m starting to think some people should be able to plead not guilty by reason of complete stupidity.
