B! HS! B!B! HS!

BHS beat Stockdale last night, 28-26, in what was called an “incredible” game. I’m happy to hear it considering what my son told me yesterday.

BHS had a pep rally before school Friday and two teachers volunteered to dress up as the Stockdale Mustang. One teacher was the head, and the other teacher was an ass – oh, I mean, the rear end. Apparently a couple of the roided out football players got caught up in all the excitement and went a little over board when they rushed in and tackled the fake horse. Both teachers were sent to the hospital, one with a couple of broken ribs, and the other with enternal bleeding. Despite the injuries, the mental image of those kids taking out a couple of teachers in a horse costume was enough to make me do the frozen faced laugh.

Let’s just hope those kids tackle their homework with as much enthusiasm.

UPDATE! I spoke to my son about this rumor again today and he told me it wasn't true. They were tackled, but no teachers were hurt in the making of a BHS pep rally.

UPDATE AGAIN!!! I was just informed that one of the teachers was in fact injured and has suffered broken ribs. Mostly likely due to his brittle old bones. ;-)
