The house isn't the only thing burned out.

A Taft man was forcibly removed from his burning house last Sunday after he refused to allow a local police man to save him. When the cop arrived he saw smoke coming out of the front door, which was open, and a locked ghetto gate. He called out to the man inside, pointing out the place was on fire and that he needed to leave, but the man told him no. Then the cop broke down the security screen and drug the drunk man out of the house. Dude must have been REALLY drunk cuz he called the cop the next day to thank him and confessed that he didn’t remember any of it.

Sounds like a burned out home is the least of his problems.
