I don't even remember Jr. High.

There’s a giant picture in the local section of the paper today of a bunch of people proudly posing in front of a large “Beardsley” banner. The caption under the photo reads “Beardsley Junior High School’s class of 1969 had its first eighth grade class reunion recently at Bakersfield’s Double Tree Hotel.” I’ve never heard of a Jr. High School reunion. Does this seem odd to anyone else besides me?

It is in Oildale. Maybe that’s as far as most of them get in school.
