A friend of mine is a teacher at a local community high school. He is trying to start a recycling program for his “at risk” student population. The plan is to teach these students about recycling and why it is important so that they will take that knowledge back home and into the community. He is hoping to get several large plastic containers donated to the school so he can begin his program, and I agreed to do what I could to help. If any of you have, or know someone who has a large, plastic bin that is not being used, it could be put to good use with this program. Your donation would be very gratefully appreciated.
