I’m confused. I was reading about the attack on the prison guards in Tehachapi yesterday on CNN.com this morning. The article says, “One of the attackers was serving a 117-year sentence for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. The other was serving a 25-year sentence for first-degree murder.” That doesn’t make sense to me. So I checked the article on Bakersfield.com and it says the same thing. Crazy.
So, there’s one guy serving 117 years for attempted murder and another serving 25 years for actually committing murder? How does that make sense?
