Sad Story

The story of the stripper who was killed last weekend is sad for two reasons. Edward Pedrosa was not just a stripper. He was a father of a 3 month old boy. He had asked the boy’s mother to marry him earlier that same day. And he was a 2 year veteran of the war in Iraq. According to KGET, “Pedrosa's fiancé, Lacey Wagner, said, ‘He was a people person he had so much going for him, it was just a job to send him through school’.” I cannot imagine the heartbreak his family must be going through.

The second thing that is sad is that instead of being remembered for all the good things he did, he will always be referred to as the stripper who was stabbed in Bakersfield.
