Burn baby Burn

As you probably know, I was joking when I said the new member of the KHSD board was going to start burning books. So you can imagine my surprise when I see the headline “Vegas: Book-burning remark a joke” on the front page of the paper today. Chad Vegas (who would vote for a guy named Chad Vegas??) went on a radio talk show yesterday and made the comment that book-burning might be on the top of his to do list. What the..?? He’s an idiot!! He admitted later that it was insensitive but refused to apologize. Speaking of idiots, Arvin Mayor Juan Olivares was not re-elected, which is good since he’s going to need time to try and prove he’s not Chester the Molester.
