Here’s one for Waist High, the annoying little blogger with an unhealthy obsession with; “Saugus, Newhall, Valencia, Santa Clarita, Newhall, Saugus, Newhall, Valencia, Canyon Country, Saugus.”
There are plans being made to build a utopian community in the hills between L.A. and Bakersfield, just south of Gorman. Centennial, as the city has been named, would be about a third the size of Bakersfield and would be built, “with a series of ‘villages’ clustered around ‘town centers’ where many residents can walk to shop or even work.” The idea is to build a perfect town where all the homes are energy efficient, the grass is greener, and the children are beautiful and smart. Dogs will pick up their own crap and there will be no old people allowed outside after dark.
Other than not liking the name, I think I wanna live there.
