We're Number 3! We're Number 3!

This is the SECOND time I reported something on my blog and then found an article about it in the newspaper the NEXT day. Yeah, that’s right – I rule.

The headline on the front-page today reads, “Walking has become all too dangerous activity in Kern” and reports that Bakersfield has a very high percentage of foot travelers being run down. We’re third behind Fresno and Visalia. (See, I told you Fresno sucks more.) According to the article, “In 2003, 225 pedestrians were hit by cars in Kern County” and, “In 2004, 211 walkers were hit.”

And those were just the people on the sidewalks.
