Is it getting hot in here?

Beverly Beasley Johnson, the director of the Department of Human Services is really on the hot seat now. Earlier this month a report was released by a Kern County Citizen Review Panel accusing Child Protective Services of, “Significantly underreport(ing) allegations of sexual and physical child abuse.” Now Sen. Dean Florez is asking that the grand jury formally investigate Johnson.
