Crazy talk

“The chief at the Department of Motor Vehicles is proposing taxing drivers for every mile they drive. And placing a tracking device in their cars. The mileage tax is the brainchild of Joan Borucki, Governor Schwarzenneger's newly appointed chief at DMV. Under the proposed plan, the state would eliminate the 18 cents per gallon gasoline tax currently in place and replace it with taxing drivers for every mile traveled by a car and truck.” (taken from kbak.bakersfield.com)

I’m just wondering… how in the hell do they think they’re going to get all these magic little tracking devices IN all the cars? Every single automobile in the entire state of California??

This is the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard.
