Not the best way to escape.

I believe I may have a nominee for The Darwin Awards.  Andrew Hernandez and a friend were fishing on the Kern River recently when officials from the Department Fish and Game asked to see their fishing licenses.  They didn’t have one.  (Dumb mistake #1.  I don’t fish and even I know those guys are Nazi’s about fishing licenses.)   When the men were asked to accompany the officials back to the truck Hernandez jumped into the river instead. (Dumb mistake #2.)

Hernandez was last seen struggling in the rapids down stream.
